Here is a cool old sign directing you to the local curling rink, I don't know how old it is but it looks to have a 100 watt merc as a back light which still works! Sadly this didn't get moved over to the new pole during an upgrade and likely ended up in the utility company's dumpster. Link to Streetview.
Yeah I guess they are the same style of fixture, I wonder when this was installed? Maybe the 50s... I wish I had known this was coming down, I would really of like to have this, heck even the lamps and ballast would of been nice.
