Nice! There are VERY few programmable visabilty signals I know of left in Rhode Island. I know of just a pair in Warwick/West Warwick near the beaches where warwick ave and west shore road meet.

I think they're still there. Probably not for any more than a few years though unfortunatly since RIDOT seems to be exterminating them in favor of standard LED heads. I always liked how cool these signals were lol. They seem to be a pain though since they take special lamps and are expensive to begin with from my knowledge.

I saw some of your pics from the previous comment. Wow! That's a lot of 3M's! Has the number of them gone down everywhere or just around here? Are they even made anymore? I don't ever recall seeing new ones anywhere.

Are you all ready for Hurricane Sandy? Apparently Cranston Public Schools already called off tomorrow so get to stay at home and watch the weather. I love watching bad weather, but always hope no one gets hurt. Kinda puts a nice twist to the day! The only thing is when the power's out i can't plug in any lights or check out this site!

3Ms are in states like ok il wi mim and ca, the BIG one is Mass. Yes sandy will be big and bad. I think I am all set.

Cool! I always found them more interesting than the "normal" Eagle-Siemens signals that are the every-day sight here. Do you collect street lights too along with your signals? I noticed you have some interest in them judging by your uploads. I'd offer you a street light or two if i had more then i do. My collection is relatively small due to storage issues. Maybe sometime you can come see my collection in person. I love vintage street lights and vintage fluorescent fixtures and my Peek signal!

Nice! 3M signals are a pretty rare find in Ontario too. My collection of signals and streetlights (Which you can see here) is pretty small too.
