The old and rusty silver metal poles that the gumballs traditionally hung on here are from the 50s or earlier. Shocked Some of them are still in use since replacing them is a PITA with all the phone lines, power cables, and streetcar wires they hold up.

Yeah, they're slowly putting in new poles as the old ones get replaced when the overhead streetcar wires are replaced.
