Woah! That's a thick jersey barrier. Shocked Well, I guess it has to be to support those highmast poles...

Yeah they do tend to be thick, they get even thicker at the bases of the highmasts.

Here they're less than half as thick as these at the top, but they're bigger at the bottom than the top like these.

Most concrete median barriers in Ontario are the "tall wall" type which is a taller version of the standard Jersey Barrier, we also have Jersey Barriers they where used in older installs and cases where a head on is not possible if a car crosses the barrier such as between express and collector lanes, as guardrails...etc.
