Area Lighting Research LC-120 Photocontrol
This is an Area Lighting Research thermal photocontrol i bought today at a Do It Best hardware store. Nothing special. Just a standard residential grade photocontrol designed basically for home use. It doesnt have an MOV surge protector in it so if a power surge happens, this thing and the fixture it is installed on will probably be fried. I don't really like the clear kind of photocontrols. I like the solid color ones with a window.

These are low quality junk, and they cost $16 locally! Shocked

I've noticed the price of those as well... that's a steal!

And those Caster MV lamps too, for the same price you could get a better quality Sylvania.

I have a couple of PC's like this, I got some at home depot, I don't use them much though, I got a whole collection of photocells. xD BUt lots of them don't work well though. The one that was on my OVM didn't work. And one is already a dayburner. xD (As on the M-250 R2 pic) and those were fisher-pierce Photocells.

I like that these are small, but I also prefer the bigger ones as I think some cobraheads look better when you can see the photocell on top. (M-400 R2 for example)
