Unpainted Sylvania R47's!
I was SURPRISED to see these.

They were the only two in the parking lot, the parking lot had two OVX's on the other side. And north of this they had lots of reveres.

But this was a surprise! Canadian Unpainted Sylvania R47's. I had to get a picture of them.

They are 400 watts HPS.

Nice! If these ever come down you should get them!

Nice find! Do these have fixture labels on the outside? Most Powerlites here do and you can read them if you have a camera with a good zoom.

Yeah they have labels on the outside. My camera isn't good enough to capture it I would have to get my dad's camera to zoom in on the label.

Something I notice is they have two diffrent refractors! Oh, and I got my 115 today, the only thing is I stupidly didn't look inside the fixture, then when I got it home I discovered the wiring inside had all been chewed up by mice/rats.
Mad Not only that but the guy won't give me any money back unless I take another drive back to Cambridge. Rolling Eyes I guess I will be rewiring it. Sad

@Niall, too bad it was chewed up, do you have a shot of the damage inside?
gailgrove   [Feb 20, 2012 at 11:42 PM]
Yeah, I'll post them tomorrow.
LilCinnamon   [Feb 20, 2012 at 11:43 PM]
Can you take a pic of the 115 Niall? I also wonder what the 115 will look like inside with the wires chewed up..
joe_347V   [Feb 20, 2012 at 11:44 PM]
I think he said he would. Wink

Oh oops, that's what I get for skimming through the comments. xD Is the 115 unpainted?
gailgrove   [Feb 20, 2012 at 11:46 PM]
What did I just say? Anyways it doesn't look too bad, until you look closely and realize it is totally useless. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Well, you could try fixing it the lazy way: Laughing

@Ian yes it is, from the pic in the ad.

Er... Yeah... Razz that did cross my mind. The only thing would be getting them on over the crimp on connectors.
