This was probably one of the original designs in Lakewood, the davit pole for the cobrahead, and the trusses for the signal, they are slowly getting wiped out, but are still Plentiful in Lakewood. This also has incandescent signals.
Today I talked to one of the guys who works in Lakewood Traffic Signals, I talked about traffic signals with him a lot. We discussed lots of things.
I found out that Lakewood does NOT use polycarbonate Signals. AT ALL. They only use aluminum. To this day. And Lakewood has also changed out all of their 12 inch (probably missed a few) Incandescent signals with LED, but not the 8 inch yet. The 8 inches are all still incandescent to this day.
I got to see a bit of their emergency stash, they got a whole BUNCH of LED modules on lots of shelves. Different brands too, Not many GE.. But lots of Leotek, I mean LOTS of leotek, they had a contract with them a lot before, and some Dialight, not too much, and Some EOI, they use EOI for current signals. They got SOME new dialight designs there, they had a whole selection.
