Old Recessed Light
Here's a old 40s or 50s era Curtis X-ray recessed light over this doorway with a glass reflector. The earliest recessed lights had glass reflectors instead of the current spun/stamped aluminium.

It dosen't work at night though. Not sure if it just needs a new bulb or it had been disconnected.

Probably just the new lamp is all.

I find some old lights like this with long dead lamps run 24/7 if they still have power. There was a set up like this here (but with those white metal eyeball recessed lights. One fixture had the reflector lamp removed and one of those medium base to outlet adapters with an outdoor sign for the ATM below it. I thought those things were supposed to be grounded or what not... the ATM sign has power 24/7 too.

i've also seen a set up with the same eyeball lights and every other one had a 50 or 70W PSMH canopy light over it. the ones in between had missing or dead lamps. I bet they still have power and just need new lamps...

Agh, it wouldn't load for me. Chrome is sorta funky with PDFs. Sometimes they'll jsut keep on loading and never finish. Rolling Eyes
