Looks like the tapered E arms are welded to the pole top. Shocked

Looks as if there used tobea few floods on the pole too.

The arms aren't welded, they just have a oddly shaped triangular mount on them. And yeah that bracket on the top looks like it was used for a trio of floods.

Ahh. i see now. I didn't look closely and mistook the mounting plate for a weld. Also note the added service entrance too. Here they will attatch the wire to the very top of the pole and have the wires go through the wire feed hole on the bottom of the arm. They seem to have did it the hard way here but it's better than drilling the fixture. Shocked

I've never seen them drill fixtures iin my area for temp feeds but Niall told me he'd seen it before in his area. Most of our crews also feed in through the bottom of the arm or the slipfitter but this one is just ridiculous. Rolling Eyes

Fourtunatly they're too lazy to drill holes in fixtures here. They don't feed it through the bottom of the slipfitter either. They feed it through the arm, which looks better. It actually makes overhead wireing look good when it's done right.

Here's a couple of Powerlite B2215s at a small parking lot in Barrie.

There's not a lot of these left here, the only place that still uses them for streetlighting is parts of Kitchener-Waterloo but those have been refitted to HPS.
