McCann Lighting Refurbished Fixture Tag for RMA
I wasn't going to make a label for it but Andy suggested it and i didn't see the harm in having a little fun after restoring it. The top came out nice as you can see but the paint in the side ran a little bit. The NEMA tag covers up most of the worst area though so I'm pleased overall.

Oh yes, i also sharpied the W logo to make it stand out. I got the idea from someone on the LG who restored his OV-25 a few years ago. I liked the idea so did it to the RMA, even though the logo is on top on the slipfitter side lol.

Good idea, if I ever repaint my B2255 I'll sharpen up the Powerlite logo on the power door.

It'd be funny if somebody in the future googled McCann Lighting and found this site and became a member! Laughing Laughing

lol yeah. Laughing i don't plan to let this thing out of my sight though! Smile I need to get my hands on a new cooper Pc receptacle for this though since the missing junk is chipping to be larger and larger. Sad

Where in the fixture is this sticker going?
streetlight98   [May 20, 2013 at 01:33 AM]
i put it on the inside wall of the head.

The reflector or the head itself?
streetlight98   [May 20, 2013 at 06:35 PM]
inside the head.

I hope it didn't leave you feeling, "lightheaded?" Laughing

Thats the same type of ceramic socket on the NEMA head fixture on the east side of my apartment building; thought it was a Westy!

Are you talking about the lamp socket or the photocell socket? the PC socket is plastic. Cooper Lighting still uses the same socket design in their NEMA heads and essentially uses the same PC socket in their lights too. (Cooper bought out Westinghouse in the 80s).

I think the main difference is cooper switched to having the leads as part of the assembly as opposed to Westinghouse had the male tabs you plug into. I've got several of each and all the cooper's have leads while the Westy's don't.

Yeah I noticed the Cooper ones have integral leads. My OV-25 Remote ballast had one with integral leads (well that or the screw terminals for them or whatever were corroded beyond recognition. Definitely were not slip-ons though.
