I think my area uses them, I've seen a good number of early failures even in medium fixtures. Rolling Eyes

Xcel Energy started to use GE lamps a while ago. Seems they have been using GE lamps for a long time because lots of the cobraheads I have seen have GE lamps. Only a FEW Have altos in it.

This is the lamp that will be used in my AEL 115 when I get it. Yeah, it's an Alto, but it was cheap.
