Escondido Old LPS Heading back home from YMCA Camp Marston near Julian, we passed through the City of Escondido on Hwy 78. Low pressure sodium street lighting is still predominant in Escondido due to it's location in close proximity to the Palomar observatory. Here, we have a 180 watt Low Pressure Sodium fixture, likely by Philips/Norelco, which makes up many of the older fixtures in the area. Keywords: American_Streetlights

I believe the LPS fixtures used in Toronto (last ones removed in 2006) where similar to this model.

There are some of these still in use Razz Theres 2 at Eglington and the 404. Im pretty sure they are LPS
