Good news, the span wire Gumball fixture at the intersection of La Loma Rd and S. Arroyo Blvd is still up and working.

Glad to know it is still alive. Very Happy I must have gotten some bad info. Is the span NEMA bucket and radial wave down the street still there?

Thats something I haven't seen before, id love to see those here in Toronto. It looks like you could keep flipping it over the wires Laughing

I think I'd saw a old pic of Toronto (40s?) with span wire lights in use. Shocked I heard they never got popular here (along with centre hung fixed 4 way traffic lights) because they interfered with the streetcar wires.

Nice to see these lamps on wires never see these in UK but they are on the continent
