StreetLight #048A - Some Added Stuff (Pic 1) At one time this one was just the streetlight by itself, but as you can see some extra things have been added: 4 Halogen floodlights, 4 speakers, and a wind-speed-sensor (and an unknown item - might be a lightning sensor?). It looks like they drilled holes in the posttop to mount the floods. Shocked

That's just not right! Shocked I'd guess the old merc post top wasn't bright enough so they mounted those halogen to it. Yes they did drill the post top for sure, I would think it's also likely disconnected.

I agree there.. they basically ruined the thing adding those floods to it.
I had taken a 2nd closer picture of it which I uploaded tonight.

Hey this page would be boring if this didn't happen because you would have no reason to take a pic of this and show it to us! So this just makes things INTERESING!

update:
This light setup & pole are gone now....
As are the restroom & concession stand buildings that were near it....
On, and the entire parkinglot is gone too.

Update: Construction of the new higher parkinglot & swim-beach was nearing completion in late December 2018, the new lights are LED like this one #360
