The series 25 light is everywhere here. all of them are 250w HPS. there may be one or two that are 400w HPS, like on the highway, but Narragansett Electric never used 400w HPS. They used 400w mercury vapor though.

There are a fair amount of these up in Springfield, MA that are 400 watt HPS.

These are nice lights. I'd take the Series 25 and 60's M-400 over the M-400R3 and 125 anyday.

I have just seen about 5 doors to these lights in our stock room at work.
streetlight98   [Sep 24, 2011 at 09:08 PM]
Are they used or old stock? If you find a houseing, you have a series 25! Smile
Antstar85   [Sep 24, 2011 at 09:13 PM]
oh there old stock. they are AE ones to.

Ooo. Brand new Series 25 doors. That's a good find. Very Happy
Antstar85   [Sep 24, 2011 at 09:19 PM]
Thats what I said, now to find a brand new head and I would be in heaven!
streetlight98   [Sep 24, 2011 at 09:22 PM]
Yeah. That would be awesome. I don't think National grid saves doors and parts because every time a door is lost, they will either replace the whole fixture or tape a M-250R2 door onto it. Rolling Eyes

There's some model 25s here too, both the FCO and drop lens versions.

Michael, talk about them being lazy. Rolling Eyes
streetlight98   [Sep 24, 2011 at 11:41 PM]
there are FCO series 25 here too. And yeah. At least they don't replace the fixture. Razz Laughing

Most American Electric ITT 25's in my area are 400 watt mercury vapor, the HPS versions used to be common on the PA turnpike in Hampton Township, PA.

I only know of a select few model 25's that are mercury vapor but they usually are on private property.
