Nahh a 1.5kW MH B2213 triple header is more like it, Maybe add a 1 kW MH uplight flood for fun. Laughing
gailgrove   [Oct 04, 2011 at 02:49 AM]
Make every light 1650 watt MH!
streetlight98   [Oct 04, 2011 at 02:51 AM]
It will be so bright, the light will bounce off the gases in the sky and light the earth like day. Razz Very Happy

The pictures with the most comments seem to be of horrible or boring lights. Rolling Eyes

Basically the progression was like this:
LED bashing -> FCO bashing -> IDA Bashing -> high power light bulbs all over the place
gailgrove   [Oct 04, 2011 at 03:05 AM]
Laughing

Who agrees we should end this before it gets out of hand?
gailgrove   [Oct 04, 2011 at 03:07 AM]
I do, I'm about to go to bed anyways, I'm not going to post another comment on this picture. David F will have a bit of a surprise though! (And Jace may have a fit) Laughing

Laughing That's sums all 71 comments up. and i agree, we not want to get in to troble
GullWhiz   [Feb 20, 2012 at 02:01 PM]
Trouble makers eh? Who's more trouble...the LEDs or the IDA or the members here....hmmmm perhaps gulls?
LilCinnamon   [Feb 20, 2012 at 02:06 PM]
Just to say, I don't think HID will get phased out anytime soon, it's the most efficient source for lighting roads, or areas. It works better and LED's aren't that good yet, LED's are better for small lighting, but they WORK for streetlighting, so there is no big deal there.
streetlight98   [Feb 20, 2012 at 06:32 PM]
Not only that, high intensity discharge lamps and fixtures are a hell of a lot cheaper than any "energy friendly" crap. I wouldn't be surprised if probe start MH was totally phased out in the next few years though.
