Interesting that they didn't use one plug. And also that the ground connects to the door too. Never seen that before.

Yeah I'm not sure why they didn't use one plug, the ground connected to the door must be a Canadian Electrical code requirement to make sure the ballast has a proper ground.

Yeah it would seem like having just one harness would be better. Interestingly the original Powerlite had a receptacle which auto disconnected when the door was opened like what the Unidors have.

Do all the Powerlites have that distribution pattern label on the door? That will come in handy with my lights. Hopefully it's still intact on mine.

Yeah both my R47 and the B2255 have a plate on the door listing the distribution patterns and lamp types.

I'll need to make a new refractor clip for my R37 and I'll try to make a distribution label for it too. Darren, would you mind taking a close-up of the distribution label on the door and the refractor clip? Fortunately it looks like the refractor clip is pretty simple to make. There was practically nothing left of mine to see how it was even made. I opened the door and what was left of the refractor fell right out because there was nothing holding it in place lol.

I made a drawing of the one in my R47. The R37 should use a similar if not the same clip.
