Yeah so when one of those three components goes, the whole thing is junk. Razz Nice ballast though Darren. I like the F-can ballasts. Very expensive though... Shocked

Cool ballast! I have a 50w MH and a 175w MV F can ballast. The 50w one works fine but the 175w one seems to underdrive lamps, I guess it might have a problem with the cap. Neutral

I have a few of 100 watt MV F-can ballasts and one 70 watt HPS F-can ballast myself?...some of my MV ones have bad cap causing a dancing arc in the arc tube at full brightness

Wow you actually have a few of those? Shocked They are somewhat rare, and pricey!
