Yea it isn't really a bad looking fixture, Just a little to small for me. I'd like to see one in action.
GEsoftwhite100watts   [Feb 09, 2014 at 01:33 AM]
Yeah...what's the light quality like?
joe_347V   [Feb 09, 2014 at 02:09 AM]
Yeah dosen't look that bad, I wonder if anyone will release a gumball version. Razz
streetlight98   [Feb 09, 2014 at 02:12 AM]
yeah overall not a terrible design. I wonder how well it'll perform and how bright it is...
joe_347V   [Feb 09, 2014 at 02:16 AM]
Same here, then we could have used these instead of the shovel things that's been replacing everything from Powerlites to Westys here.
streetlight98   [Feb 09, 2014 at 02:22 AM]
lol yeah. Imagine if GE came out with an Evolve Crimefighter? lol That would be the funkiest looking thing ever lol. An LED M-250R2 on the other hand sounds like a good plan but i sense that GE is moving away from the cobrahead design...
Mercuryvapor123   [Feb 09, 2014 at 02:26 AM]
Yea everything now is going for that sleek modern look not the good old bulky in you'r face cobra head.
streetlight98   [Feb 09, 2014 at 02:56 AM]
yeah everything from hand-held electronics, TVs, computers, outdoor lighting, etc is all getting sleeker.
joe_347V   [Feb 09, 2014 at 03:40 AM]
I like the sleek look for my electronics but not for my lights. Laughing Razz
GEsoftwhite100watts   [Feb 09, 2014 at 04:38 PM]
I personally don't care for the sleek, modern look at all...like these modern all-glass buildings, etc. I'm an in-your-face-bulky kind of guy.

Thats right, the bigger the better, although I am considering installing my Holophane LANEVUE aka the AEL AUTOBAHN just for kicks and giggles.
GEsoftwhite100watts   [Feb 15, 2014 at 04:07 AM]
Yeah bigger the better...you should install one of those racks of 1500w MH floods in your yard like the ones at a baseball field...
streetlight98   [Feb 15, 2014 at 08:08 PM]
LOL then his neighboors would hate him for sure! lol. I always thought it would be cool to put up a bunch of low wattage flood lights up to mimic field lighting. Like eight 100W MV lamps or something lol. You'd get about the same amount of light as a 700W merc....
Mercuryvapor123   [Feb 16, 2014 at 01:04 AM]
No, I'm lookn' to get an American Eletcric 1000 watt MH 327.!!!!! Then my neighbors will hate me. Laughing
streetlight98   [Feb 16, 2014 at 02:24 AM]
didn't you have one at one point? I thought you either had a 25 or 327 at one point... Yeah if you get a standard MH one you can run MV lamps on it! Cool
Mercuryvapor123   [Feb 16, 2014 at 02:30 AM]
No I do have a GE M-1000 and a Hubbell RLG there pretty big fixtures I never had a 25 (I wish) or a 327.
streetlight98   [Feb 16, 2014 at 03:08 AM]
maybe i'm thinking of the RLG then... Could you post a pic of the RLG with a 125 or (newer style) M-400 lens?
Mercuryvapor123   [Feb 16, 2014 at 11:20 AM]
Sorry, the M-400 lens won't fit in the RLG. The RLG will only except the RLG lens specifically.
streetlight98   [Feb 16, 2014 at 02:58 PM]
Hmm really? I could have sword I've seen the RLG lens in a newer M-400 before.
Mercuryvapor123   [Feb 16, 2014 at 03:22 PM]
There's no way it's impossible . They are completely different shapes and sizes.
