I heard Thorn had a branch in Canada. Yours looks like it was made by GE tho. I happen to have a Canadian bulb with the Thorn logo it was made by Philips. Dunno how it came here lol. In all my bulb hunting years I do occasionally come across a stray Canadian bulb made for the Canadian market.
