My school parking lot has one post top (there probably used to be a bunch, because there are a bunch of pole bases in the ground cut and filled with concrete. It looks almost like a square twistpack. The rest of the lot is lit with a few newer floods.

The school I went to had powerbrackets type lumes, shoeboxes, wallpacks, floodlights and a Powerlite B2255 in the parking lot. Shocked

Where is the ballast?
vaporeyes   [Feb 22, 2012 at 02:33 AM]
The ballast is in the base of the pole.

Clamshells often have remote ballasts (except for power packs which would be very obvious which would have a separate body attached to each other)

Yep, here's what a powerpack looks like.
GullWhiz   [Feb 22, 2012 at 02:09 PM]
Michael, show us the 400 watt version powerpack and a 1000 watt powerpack (yep this is a challenge, but it's to show how educated you are Michael (don't boast though Wink )

Okay. here's a Form 400 powerpack . And here's an ad for a Form 400 powerpack but I never knew there was a Form 402 powerpack. Shocked Form 400 powerpack is on my wanted list. Cool
