/N vs /DX
Here's a shot showing a /N mercury lamp compared to a standard /DX mercury lamp. The /N is a [url=http://www.galleryoflights.org/mb/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-5044]250w Philips[/url] and is running in my B2255 using an Advance 250w CWA MV/MH ballast. The /DX is a [url=http://www.galleryoflights.org/mb/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-1648]100w CGE[/url] and is running in my R47 on an Venture 70w MH ballast with the ignitor disabled.

/N vs /DX

Here's a shot showing a /N mercury lamp compared to a standard /DX mercury lamp. The /N is a 250w Philips and is running in my B2255 using an Advance 250w CWA MV/MH ballast. The /DX is a 100w CGE and is running in my R47 on an Venture 70w MH ballast with the ignitor disabled.

The difference is pretty much unnoticeable Laughing

The /N does appear very slightly warmer though. It's probably a lamp with a thicker coating of /DX phosphor. Real /Ns are clearly warmer!

Yeah, Laughing don't real /N lamps have a yellowish phosphor even when off?

The B2255 has a very similar refractor patter to the OV-25 and the OV-10
