Just Painted!
I came outside early in the morning yesterday and applied the white paint on the designated areas and after lunch yesterday applied the rust-oleum Smoke Gray Gloss Enamel paint and by the end of the day, it was dry enough to bring in for the night. This morning it was assembled and it was mounted and wired just before lunch today! Has a nice buzz and is so shiney you can see the lamp's etch reflected off the inside of the reflector!

Ahh, it dosen't look too bad and it looks like it might be fixable too if you can weld it.

yeah it could be fixed. The hole is actually threaded for a screw, which confuses me. I think i'll leave it alone though since the paint came out really good on this.

I remember this restoration. this light is currently in storage right?

Hey Andy, yeah this is a really nice light. It was in my utility room leaning against the wall with no lamp for a while but I decided to mount all my not-in-use fluorescents on the ceiling in the utility room (not hooked up, just mounted up there) to get them out of the way. It's actually currently mounted right next to the 1973 F40/RS Therm-O-Matic shop light in the utility room.
