Sweet! I saw this on ebay but i already have a 400w merc for my M-400. i think i'll get another 400w merc when i get the H33 ballast can for my OV-25 though.
That's not all, I scored three more 400W BT37 lamps which should arrive soon! Two are mid 70s /DX Westinghouse, and the other is a /DX Sylvania, probably a H33GL-T400/DX.
Awesome! Eventually i'd like to get a 400w merc that was made the same year (month too if I can find one) as my M-400 from March '73. Maybe a bonusline or banner or something.
Do you have a 400w metal halide ballast? It should work on there, dunno if there's an ignitor to disconnect on a 400w highbay but disconnect it if there is! Otherwise, goodbye starting probe!
Still, better to run it on the proper ballast, but try the above if you want to see it lit really badly!
Unfortunately I don't. But at my mom's job I found an old 400W mercury high bay head, and it's 120V! I told my mom to ask for it, but didn't get any news since then. I hope I'm going to get that high bay head!
I probably am not going to. I bought this bulb mainly because it was a good opportunity to get my first /N mercury lamp. I prefer higher colour T° light sources, so I may rather use a /W lamp instead LOL.

The good thing was these lamps were located here in Colorado so I got to pick it up at their place. xD They weren't very far from me and I just picked it up today.
Vince got it from the same seller I did. I just picked mine up at the place these were held. xD I got the last one of these lamps, There was only one left and 20 sold. xD I got the last one.
I LOVE the color of this lamp, it looks great in my OV-25. I like the color of the /N lamps better than /DX! Or even Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium.

I lit up mine yesterday. It's not as yellow as I thought it would be, but the colour was quite close to a huge warm white CFL!
