This CFL looks pretty good in my highbay! It is my 2nd favourite lamp, the 100W halogen PAR being my #1 favourite.

Well I'm not sure then. Razz

I've seen ones made by GE that look like the ones i saw in Canada, but the GE ones are smaller. My elementary school had GE ones backstage in the Auditorium. Most were burnt out and I've never seen them used except when i turned them on. As far as i know, they're still there.

Oh the joys of playing with electrical stuff at school. Laughing My current high school has almost all the breaker boxes locked but a few aren't, my middle school had them all unlocked, I played with the gym and stage lights on many occasions, of course when no one was around. Razz

Laughing My drafting teacher used to give me random stuff to wire up and not the low voltage stuff too. Shocked

I used to be first to class just so I could flip on the lights and see that RS startup effect. Laughing

I occasionally stopped to say hi to my gym teacher in the morning to see the lights get turned on. Laughing

Hey Joseph how old are you anyways (if you don't want to tell us here you can PM me)? You've never told us,I have a guess but I'm not totally sure. Anyways I've fired up all the lights in my middle school's gym at the same time, 450 or so fluorescent lamps firing up at the same time sure is impressive!

There are 36 lights in my gym. 6 lamps in each one, so that a good amout of lamps. The new fixtures are IS though.

That's around about what I figured. Razz I know you've talked about things you did in high school so I figured you had graduated fairly recently.
joe_347V   [Oct 08, 2011 at 02:50 AM]
That or I could have had a good memory. Laughing

Maybe I can predict the future to find out what I'll be doing when i go into high school next year. Razz Laughing
gailgrove   [Oct 08, 2011 at 02:58 AM]
Well something I can predict is going into this program next year (hopefully), to become an electrician!
streetlight98   [Oct 08, 2011 at 03:01 AM]
I'll be going into a votech class in 10th grade for an electrician.
gailgrove   [Oct 08, 2011 at 03:03 AM]
No fair! Here you have to wait until your 16 which is grade 11. I would assume votech is a similar program.
joe_347V   [Oct 08, 2011 at 03:05 AM]
Well you could take tech courses in Ontario before you turn 16 which are like shop and votech classes in the US.
streetlight98   [Oct 08, 2011 at 03:09 AM]
Yep I think votech stands for "vocational technoledgy". It's basically a program for students interested in a trade.
gailgrove   [Oct 08, 2011 at 03:10 AM]
Oh I am, all three of my optional courses are! I am taking computer tech, construction tech (I think covers some electrical) and auto tech. My school doesn't have any electrical courses per say but a master electrician I know said to not both taking any high school courses since I already know everything they would teach. Shocked
streetlight98   [Oct 08, 2011 at 03:12 AM]
In middle school here Computer tech is a manditory class. I have it for 1 simester and art the other simester.
joe_347V   [Oct 08, 2011 at 03:13 AM]
I took computer tech, and tech design and I wanted to take auto tech but they said the class was full. Rolling Eyes
And here's what you need to take to graduate from high school in Ontario.
streetlight98   [Oct 08, 2011 at 03:17 AM]
I'm not sure what is needed to graduate high school here. It's similar to what waqs metioned in your link, but there are a few more things.
