Never saw this until today, but it's been right there all along. Lots of controls in here. Not sure what these could have controlled. My guess is the street lights for the park entrance road, which are now all gone. The street lights have PCs, so you'd think they'd just run dusk-to-dawn, but maybe they used a timer instead... This is all disconnected now, the fused removed, the wire cut.
Looks like it was some sorta of power distribution box. I see a couple of disconnects and what appears to be a motor starter along with a sufrace mount fuse block and a lamp socket. I guess it controlled a ride that used to be there.
I didn't even think of a ride. This is located right inside the main entrance though and isn't even fenced in lol. Thick trees too. I wonder if the ride was further away? Usually they're nearby.
Ahh, maybe it wasn't for a ride then lol as like you said you would think that the distribution box would be closer to a ride. Maybe it was just the power distribution for the sign and lights then.
