Holy cow look at that! O_O This is in Westerly, RI with the address tag attached to the pic if anyony wants to locate the streetview to look at the surroundings. there were a couple OV-10IBs, a unistyle, and probably a few M-250R1s on this particular stretch of road.
Maybe... Joe Maurath has these with radial waves but the MV versions have those hi-fi needle refractors. maybe at some point the hi-fi needle refractor and it broke and they stuck a replacement on? I'll have to show Joe M this and see if he would know since often Massachusetts and RI installed the same lights at the same time since they shared the same parent companies. if this is incandescent though it probably did hold a radial wave reflector or maybe an admiral's hat. that PC looks to be from the past 5 years or so, so i'm leaning towards it being 100W MV but I honestly have no clue since there were 100 and 175W mercs on that road and NECo used 100W mercs to replace incandescents in most cases so maybe this is incandescent. UGH I want a bucket truck lol. Or I could somehow convince my parents to drive my to Westerly and wander the streets in the car at night and find this light lol.
