1970s? OV-25 on a 8' Tapred Elliptical This one was a dayburner for the longest time and out of the blue it was fixed. I've been by it at night and it has a new lamp too which is even more odd since NGrid policy doesn't allow MV fixtures over 150W (i know, there's no such thing as a 150W MV lamp) to be relamped. The most that can be serviced is the PC. The old lamp was very dim and this one's nice and bright. It was serviced in 2011. Keywords: American_Streetlights

I couldn't agree more! Odd how all the other lights are 50W HPS or 100W MV though Laughing

It's too bad Duquesne Light doesn't do that anymore, they haven't relamped a single mercury vapor street light since 2009.

Yeah there are still a number of mercs around in RI. The 400 and 175 watters are mainly misouts while they left entire strings of 100 watters untouched for unknown reasons. I need to move to Scituate. Laughing

I wish Ontario had more mercs left, I only know of a few missouts here and there.

EDIT/UPDATE: Unfortunately this OV-25 was replaced by a 250W HPS Cooper OVZ. Sad
