The utility poles in my area have those ads on them too, and ones for fence, deck and paving contractors.

Yeah those stupid ads really annoy me. There are "ads" like those near me too but they're mostly "YARD SALE" signs that people are too lazy to take down.

It's also illegal to post advertisements on utility poles.

So many people do it though. I guess they don't think they'll get caught. Here people put ads on the traffic light boxes. RIDOT just painted over them when they service the cabinet lol.

They also stick ads on the back of road signs, signal poles, and cabinets here. Usually they'll get painted over with grey or silver paint.

Here they are all for "Safe abortion" with a cellphone number to an illegal backyard quack. I rip them off if i see them. These charlatans will do it at any time, up to 9 months..... Sad is that the Govt clinics do it for free, with counselling and support, but only up to 3 months, after that they offer adoption.
