Crazy RIDOT Workers at it Again!
Here they reused the tall pole but replaced the davit with one used for the ramps. Looks so misplaced eh? The light is 400W though. They sure don't care if the poles match of not lol.

Over here my utility is guilty for using random arm lengths on city streets when changing pole, I know of a street with poles using a 10' arm followed by a 8' arm, 6' arm and then a 8' arm. Rolling Eyes

The original poles all had 8' arms

National Grid currently installs only 6 foot upsweep arms on wood poles unless requested otherwise. Pretty much every type of mounting bracket can be found here except for single and double guy, which weren't really used on wood poles here to my knowledge. there are some metal poles with double guy upsweep arms and double guy tapered e arms though.

I know of a few installs here on Grid poles that used single guy A-frame brackets.

Hmm. They're very basic here lol. they only install 4 wattages of streetlights and two for floods. Rolling Eyes
