A Mercury Vapor in Lincoln?
Indeed. It's a ITT13, which is a rare sight in RI especially in MV. This is one of two mercs that I know of that are left in Lincoln. Otherwise, HPS 1993 M-250R2 FCO lights rule the roads. This one is 100W MV and burns brightly at night.

Still in service and fairly bright too!

i've never seen a 100 Watt MV streetlight ever.
streetlight98   [Jul 27, 2015 at 09:03 AM]
Wow, that's by far the most common MV wattage here! They're bright when new but dim very fast to the point of uselessness. Even the lifeguards dim badly after so many years.
Form109   [Jul 27, 2015 at 01:10 PM]
Everywhere I've been the lowest I've seen is 175. Also. What time scale is fast?
streetlight98   [Jul 27, 2015 at 07:44 PM]
About twice as fast as any higher wattage.

Yeah 50W HPS and 100W MV is very common in the northeast. Seems like 100W HPS/175W MV is the lowest southward.

well what i hear is 175 watt Mercs last longest both in Lumen maintence & Longevity.
streetlight98   [Jul 29, 2015 at 08:54 AM]
Yeah 175W lifeguards seem to remain full brightness forever lol. The standard 175W MVs probably dim out around the same speed as 250 and 400W though.

Yeah I think the 100w mercs are among the worst in dimming out. I have one which was used from 1974 to 1994 and it's about as bright as a 40w incnadescent lol. The 175w mercs I occasionally see in older shopping malls seem to still be a decent brightness.

100 watt mercury vapor street lights aren't that common in my area. There used to be several in Indiana Township, PA on Lefever Hill Rd and Rich Hill Rd and there were two on Route 910 and one on Middle Rd. Most of the street lights in Indiana Township were 175 watt mercury vapor.
