Anyone Seen this Style Signal Before?
I caught it while it was in between flashes, as the bottom 8" section flashes yellow by default. These are commonly used at pedestrian crosswalks here and at fire stations. This particular one is at a fire station on Park Ave in Cranston.

BTW, does anyone know the brand of these signals? These are aluminum, right?

They look like Eagle Alusigs, and yeah they are made of aluminium. I don't think they were ever used in my area.

They have them at railroad crossings in my area. The lower 8 inch yellow beacon flashes and the traffic signal changes to red when a train is coming.

@ Joe, thanks. I had a feeling these were aluminum, but I wasn't positive since i didn't see the tabs on the side of the doors for the wing nuts.
@ Alex, yep we have them at railroad crossings too. The 8" section flashes yellow by default. When the signal is needed, the steady 12" yellow comes on and a few seconds later it goes red.

Yes they're ALUSIGs. Nearly exact copy to its polycarbonate twin Eagle's DURASIG. The ALUSIG line ran from 1977-1990 while Eagle was under the reign of Gulf and Western Industries. It was dropped in favor of Mark IV's bubbled back line when LFE/Automatic Signal and Eagle merged under Mark IV industries.

We have even more Mark IVs here. Those are everywhere. These are the second most popular and thrid are the PEEK style ones like i have.

I also notice the pedestrian signal to the bottom right hand corner.
There's also a pedestrian crosswalk present here.
