nice shot. Cool are these dimmer than the old HPS or about the same? they seem to have pretty concentrated distribution. i bet the street looks better under white light even though they're LEDs and ugly. was the ground wet? these look like they might be about as bright as a slightly dimmed out 100W merc (which isn't saying much since these replaced 100W HPS)

Thanks, surprisingly even though these have less raw lumens than 100w HPS, it's still as bright (from what I've seen although I can try measuring the footcandles underneath) as the old HPS lights. I suppose it's cause the LEDs have a higher colour temp and CRI which makes the eye see more lumens that what the light puts out.

Yeah these have a pretty concentrated distribution but it works pretty well. I'd say it's around the same as FCO HPS..maybe slightly better. I'd be all over these if the fixtures looked better during the day. Razz

ahh well sounds good! yeah just stick the whole LED fixture inside an AEL 327 body or something lol (or a M-400A2 or something lol)
