Utility Companies Map - GTA Here's a map that's cropped from [url=http://www.ieso.ca/imoweb/pubs/local_distribution/Ontario_LDC_Map.pdf]this one[/url] showing the utilty companies in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) and its surroundings. My local utilty company is Powerstream, which serves Alliston, Aurora, Barrie, Beeton, Bradford West Gwillimbury, Penetanguishene, Markham, Richmond Hill, Thornton, Tottenham and Vaughan, ON and Niall's utiliy company would be Hydro One Brampton on this map. The "background" is actually rural areas that are served by Hydro One Networks, not to be confused with Hydro One Brampton which only serves that City of Brampton. Nice map, Hydro One Brampton is still a part of Hydro One but it operates separately, they are very reliable too!

Thanks, you probably already seen it but I found this on their site. Are those EPAC 220s on the poles that currently have twistpaks?

I haven't actually seen that before, those poles now would have Twistpaks and are likely being or going to be replaced by OVHs very soon Rolling Eyes That is my grandmother's neighbourhood!

Ugh, they're probably going to say stuff the OVHs have better photometrics as their rational for replacing the Twistpaks. Rolling Eyes

They replaced some Twistpaks here with FCO 115s here in 2009, they kept the old poles during the conversion though Confused
