NEMA Tag Wall
Well, I originally wasn't going to post this but after seeing Mike's NEMA tag wall I decided to show a pic of mine. Here's my MH 70 and HPS 70 & 150 tags. I also have some more tags coming in but I haven't gotten them yet.

You can also see parts of two Ontario highway signs (#7 and #101), a fake license plate with my name on it (the registration stickers are real though), my school schedule lol, and a old H5 subway car builder's plate.

Yeah I have a McCann Lighting NEMA tag wall and a real NEMA tag wall along with a random test NEMA tag clone that I'll post a pic of later this week. Ironically it has my school schedule near it too. Razz Laughing

And your wall is also "Federal Green" too!
I have a funny story about that color, namely a bathroom painting disaster...would you guys like to hear it?
I like this display...are your guys' highway signs in Ontario more detailed/ornate than ones here in the US?

Funny how school schedules hang out near NEMA tag displays Laughing , the wall is actually lighter in colour...

Like sage-ish in color? Still a nice color...

@ Andy; sure i'd love to hear the story. Laughing Also, I think just the QEW signs are very ornate.

So I was painting a small-ish (in a 1932 lighthouse too!) bathroom, along with two other people, one painting and one tiling the tub/shower surround. So I loaded up my roller and went to paint a spot high on the wall and paint started dripping onto the brand new tile floor (I would have personally painted before tile). So I start to get off the ladder to wipe up the paint and step in the paint tray full of 'Federal Green' with a borrowed pair of bedroom slippers Shocked. The other person I was painting with had stepped out for a minute at this point, and later she told me she heard, "Ohmygodohmygodohmygod!" from the bathroom.

@Mike the MTO actually has three types of route markers in use. The 1st type is the simplest and is used on green signs. The square crown type looks more ornate and is used mainly near at grade highway junctions. The shield crown type is the most ornate and is usually used as a reassurance marker.

The font also changed slightly over the years. The old MTO font (70s-80s) had clipped corners on the 4s and 7s, flat tops on the 3s and no hooks on the 1s. The newer font is just the same FHWA font that everyone else uses. Razz

Oh wow that's quite a variety! RI signs are supposed to be just a plain white square with black numbers and a little "R.I." at the very top, centered. It seems most of the time RIDOT installed Massachusetts route signs (just a boring white square with the numbers on it LOL)

Yeah, I think MTO is one of the only states/provinces to have 3 different types of route signs.

BTW, did you see my new arrow lenses Mike? The pic seemed to have gotten pushed off the main page. Rolling Eyes
