Lithonia Wraplite
The beloved Lithonia instant start wraplite make another return, this time at my local Restore and I have to say that they're very "high quality" fixtures complete with proprietary snap in holders I've yet to seen used in other fixtures, lack of ballast cover and wonderful Accu-Pro electronic instant start ballast.

Well actually it's one of the more tackier fixtures I've seen, the Lithonia wraps I got 3 1/2 years ago were so much better at least they still have standard lampholders and a full ballast cover so your could use off the shelf parts to fix them. With this it's like the fixture is disposable and if I had to choose I would probably get the used F15 striplight on the left...at least that still has a better Advance magnetic trigger start ballast.

Mind the blurred pic, I used my phone camera instead of my regular one.

Interesting case of fluorescents! I suppose it's a box of F20T12s?

Yep I think it was originally, but there some mixed lamps inside now, including some odd F24 slimline lamps. I already had a pair so I decided against grabbing them.

I need one of those sockets. Razz

Here's what I would have done since those odd sockets are hard to find:

get something like this with a screw down nut, drill a hole through the fixture housing and screw the holder on instead, shunt the lampholder for IS and then replace the one on the other end so you have a matching pair on on side.

Finally and optionally so the holders all match replace the ones on the other side too.

After it comes down, I may be able to actually fix the socket since i instantly shut the switch off once i heard that sizzle sound. No plastic dripped off the socket and no contacts are exposed, which is good. If not, I'll probably trash it since I don't want to mess with it anymore.

I believe those are BJB lampholders similar to this, I think they're European spec ones...I wonder why Lithonia switched from the Levitions from my other link to these.

Hey Joe, what was in the Philips box (I'm assuming they're T8s or you would have likely bought them Razz )
joe_347V   [Nov 12, 2012 at 02:23 AM]
I believe it was originally filled with Philips Ultralumes but when I was last there it was filled with a mix of T12s and T8s.
streetlight98   [Nov 12, 2012 at 02:33 AM]
did you check if they were new or used?
joe_347V   [Nov 12, 2012 at 02:55 AM]
They were new, I bought a pair of the Ultralumes and the F17T8/930 although I passed on the F24T12 slimlines since I already had a pair.

I would still have bought everything in the pic... Laughing

Ehhhh most of the stuff was fairly common anyways. The only stuff I really buy now is preheat stuff and HID stuff.
