Sockets and Adapters
Found these are Restore recently, the mogul socket extender and the medium to mogul enlarger is pretty hard to come by too. The medium base socket was a pretty good deal since they sell for $5 here. And plus it's a older one that's USA made.

The mogul socket extender was quite corroded when I first got it (the shell was as dark as this) but a lot of elbow grease, toilet bowl cleaner and Brasso cleaned it up quite nicely. Also works nicely for using lower wattage lamps in fixtures too. Not sure what I'll use the socket enlarger for aside from taking silly pictures of 1kW lamps in household fixtures.

Some more recent Restore finds. I went to a Restore I haven't been to before and it turns out this Restore is huge. They had a ton of lighting and electrical stuff (a ton of lamps, ballasts, fluorescent fixtures, and some HID fixtures) but since I don't have much room I left a lot behind. I did pick up what's in the pic and three more of those mogul sockets. The black fluorescent holders were a good find too since they're really rare over here. The Y-slot pair is from Leviton and the doughnut pair from GE. The two ignitors are both Advance ones for 35-150w HPS.

Nice to see the stuff you were talking about in the email. and yeah the two adapters are pretty uncommon aside from online. And LOL about taking silly pics of 1000W lamps in household fixtures lol. Just don't bump into the switch. Shocked

Laughing Yeah, I'd think the fixture would melt pretty quickly if a 1kW incandescent was crammed in. Also I went to another Restore today and added a new pic to this page.

oh nice! What sorts of stuff did you leave behind?

I guess you already know since I mentioned in my email but here's a quick list of the goodies I left:
ED28- Philips MH and PSMH (Coated, unknown wattage)
18w GE and Philips LPS (decided against getting it since I had a ton of 18w ones already)
35w Philips LPS I think it was too much and plus I don't have a ballast for it.
More of those GE black fluorescent sockets. (Didn't need that many but if I do I'll go and grab some more)
More of those mogul sockets (Already got some)
Cooper 250w HPS? flood - way too big for my room lol
Lithonia 150w MH? wallpack, also way too big for my room lol
Various F14T12s - Already have a few of them.
Lumatrol Yellow Cased PCs - They were too much ($20 ea)and plus I don't use working PCs on my lights
Emergency Ballast - might grab it if its still there though but I don't think it fits in my wraparound.
SORTIE (EXIT) sign - don't really have space for it
F40T8 (5') lamps - didn't have a fixture or the space for it.
Some off brand MH ignitor

ahh good stuff they have! also yellow cased PCs are usually 480V so it would only serve as a shorting cap to you.

Ahh, they were pretty similar to the grey 120v Lumatrols that came with my B2255 and R47 though.
