Looks like even the tubes are period-correct to the fixture LOL.

Back in the mid 90s I was way too young to make any kind of electrical stuff, however I remember some of my electrical circuits made of flashlight bulbs and D cells, back from the very late 90s!

I indeed bought one of the two GEs at that time, its the one with the end blackening. I bought two, don't know what happened to the other. The second GE here came from an undercabinet light.

LOL, well its not perfect but still looks pretty good for a hand made product. BTW I just got an 8w preheat strip light from a thrift store, will show it later!
