Reproduction gumball in Berkeley, CA
Don't know the light source but would suspect metal halide; could be HPS though. Aside from the unfortunate damage to the refractor, the pole and fixture are a nice vintage reproduction.

Looks nice, the ones used here in Toronto are almost identical from the vintage incandescent ones they replaced in the 90s, down to the low mounting height, latch on refractor and 3000K lamp.

The thing that stands out the most on the new gumballs here is the red NEMA tag and the bumps on the head used to mount the ballast.
