Since 1 september 2009 all "non-clear" (frosted) incandescent lamps have been banned (import & production) by the European Union (clear lamps still being allowed for no technical reason for some time).
I regret not buying more. There is still time to stock up on clear lamps though.
Yep 100w Filament Lamps have been Banned in the UK since 2009, except for Airport Lighting (as they are used in Obstruction Lights) too however all is not lost as my Local Hardware store is still selling them out of Interest the 75 watt Filament Lamp and the T8 Halophosphate Fluorescent Tube will be Banned in the UK/Europe this September (Sept 2010)
Isn't halophosphate T8 already banned? They are no longer available at most lighting suppliers here in Sweden, since about 1-2 months ago.
I have seriosly been thinking about smuggling a car full of light bulbs from Norway (keep some and sell some of them after a couple of years), but they have apparently banned them there too!
