What a waste of bulbs. I hope they were at least dead and they weren't anything vintage.

If they were dead (or even vintage) it's still cool to see this happen instead of them being thrown away IMO...

Cool! I'd much rather see the bulbs like this than crushed because someone said they were obsolete though.

well i'd much rather see this happen to dead chinatown lamps rather than westie lifeguards or durotest lamps that still have years of life left on them. Confused It would have been nice if they could have at least used a clear resin to toughen the lamps instead of using colored ceramic since now the etches and arc tubes are no longer visable.

and some of these lamps look sort of rare. I'd much rather see these lamps left in their original condition and properly displayed in a historical museum rather than painted over like nothing and displayed as "artwork" with no purpose whatsoever. Confused Mad Rolling Eyes Why not do it to some altos or Plusrite lamps? Razz Laughing

Well, if they were dead I don't mind them doing this but if they were working or worst, NOS then... Mad Rolling Eyes .

Well, these were probably either dead or very dim anyway...
