I have a newer version of this. Mine has a electronic Keystone ballast.

I've thought about making this preheat someday as I have all the stuff to do it but I kinda like that dim LPF trigger start ballast actually! I'm focusing more attention on a 4' preheat conversion project I have in progress...it's operational with one out of two lamps but I need another ballast and FS-4 starters so I can use 40 watt lamps instead of 34s. (I'm using rapid start ballasts as preheat ones by running the lamp between red/blue and wiring up the starter like you would for a choke. Problem is it only lights one lamp at a time like that so I need a second ballast. I used a 1970s Sears shoplight with a nice big reflector for the conversion base so it should look fairly authentic... except for RAPID START LAMPS ONLY stamped in the reflector! Laughing

Nice little fixture. Is that a generator keyed ignition panel with glow plug indicator behind the fixture?

Yep, it is. Good eye! It's for a 15Kw Isuzu I also have. The generator head went up in sparks and smoke but the motor is fine which is why it was given to us for free LOL.

I might add I've been using this fixture regularly ever since! Very Happy
