After reporting this light close to 20 times, it has recently (in the past couple of days) been replaced with an HPS fixture. Most likely an M250R2 FCO 250w HPS, like the others. I'll get a pic of it tomorrow.

Don't report any more mercs. Razz Fourtunatly, National Grid still services existing mercs here. Very Happy

I report a lot of mercs, and they fix most of them. For example, every dim merc I've reported has been relamped. I've also reported non-functional mercs that have been fixed. I'm guessing they replaced this particular fixture because they didn't have a replacement lens. ComEd doesn't use many M250A's...

Hmm. Maybe they didn't want to replace the lens. If they don't have the needed replacement parts in the truck, NGrid will replace the light. They don't replace ignitors either. Rolling Eyes

Yeah, I edited my comment above. I don't think they had a replacement lens.

The M-250A uses the same size refractor as any other small sized cobrahead. the M-250R1, M-250R2, M-250A, M-250A2, OVZ, OVX, OVS, OV15, L-150, 115, 113, 13, etc all share a common refractor size.

The Powerlite B2227, R47, and R7 uses that size too.

Yep. So did the OVC, 13-000, and Line Materials unistyle 175 and Mc-Graw unidoor 150
