Located in Holyoke, MA. This fixture is on a short dead end street along with another fixture like this. I'm not sure the wattage of these lights but they did replace 100 watt HPS M-250A's. The virus has begun here in Holyoke.
I was the one that said it looks like a crab! It was more than a year ago, and I know I posted a picture but I can't find it, I may of deleted it. But you can't argue that this doesn't look like this
I have now also located some BETA LED fixtures on another street, those lights are just plain hideous. seems like they are testing out a bunch of the manufactures.
I agree, I believe these were the test fixture when the city was deciding what fixtures to use. But on a road with 4 houses and 2 poles, I think they could of left these alone.
Come to think of it, Holophane may have let the city test them to see if they liked them. Then the city would have had to either send them back to Holophane after a certain amount of time or buy them. I think some LED companies let a municipality have a few test pilots for free or for a reduced cost for an X amount of time.
Well I do LOL. I watched Spongebob for quite a while LOL.
