That would of been nice, but it's still running after they throw it! Mad These are actually pretty strong!
Antstar85   [Sep 19, 2011 at 01:50 AM]
Still don't like them......lol
gailgrove   [Sep 19, 2011 at 01:52 AM]
I don't either!

The prototypes are always better than the real thing. Rolling Eyes

The SAT-24S look exactly like this light but only have 24 LEDs instead of 48 like this one.

I wonder when a LED floodlight will be invented. For now we will just bolt one of these in the vertical position. Laughing

They can't even make a LED floodlight look decent Rolling Eyes

Yep, Holyoke is replacing all floodlighting at schools in the city with LED floods.

LEDs aren't invading yet, but I heard a test in Cranston is coming up soon Mad

I am so glad we aren't hearing anything about LED here yet, we are only now experimenting with FCO HPS lighting! I think (and hope) we many eventually be going the CMH route when we eventually change out our HPS.

We still have incandescents that are still being serviced!! I occasionally even see a gas lampost around too. I'll have to get a pic. Of couse it doesn't work.
GullWhiz   [Sep 19, 2011 at 02:50 AM]
We have some gas lamppost around here and some owned by cities...and they WORK!

LED activity is VERY VERY low in MD...however I saw some LED sign lights.......

I hope the LED infestation dosen't get any worse in Ontario, and I think I've seen some gas lights in downtown Toronto but I'll have to check that.
Antstar85   [Mar 07, 2012 at 10:26 PM]
I have now seen two of these fixtures not working.
joe_347V   [Mar 08, 2012 at 12:17 AM]
Pfft 20 year lifespan. Rolling Eyes
Antstar85   [Mar 08, 2012 at 10:36 AM]
The only thing that these fixtures could use as a defense is that they are in wooded areas and may have been damaged by the October nor'easter.
gramirez2012   [Mar 08, 2012 at 01:18 PM]
That has got to be one of the ugliest fixtures I've ever seen.
gailgrove   [Mar 08, 2012 at 07:29 PM]
I'd say others are much uglier, this is one of the better looking LED lights IMO.
