There's actually something similar near me....at a parking lot, I haven't seen them yet, but a friend of mine told me about em....I will take a night shot as soon as I can..I see the fixture looks to be same make but it looks newer as it is cleaner some little different screwing design, less screws as the ballast is lighter!

I haven't seen any induction lights, but i'd assume they look fluorescent-ish when lit?

I wonder how the light distribution compares to using HPS.

It looks like it is stuffed into the same reflector so I guess it wouldn't be too different.

yeah but the HPS is a compact arc and the Induction is a more diffuse glow and it comes from a Hoop Shaped source.

I'd guess the inducrion would be type 5, from the symetrical shape
