If only Cooper cobraheads weren't so hard to get, i would probably order a few of these. I can't find a distributor that can get Cooper Streetworks products.
Yep. I called the distributor that Cooper told me to call. I went down there and gave them a part number for an OVH, and they got back to me with the same answer the other distributors gave me. They said they can't get Cooper Streetworks. Cooper gave them a quote on a substituted luminaire for the OVH under the Cooper Lumark brand name, and it was almost 400 dollars. 400 dollars for a 100 watt HPS cobrahead. Thats ridiculous. Especially for a Cooper. Not that i have a problem with Cooper or anything, I do like their cobraheads. But come on. 400 dollars? I could call Cooper again and keep trying. But i probably won't get anywhere.
I bought my mercury vapor OVZ on ebay. It doesn't look like the seller re-listed them. I can call the seller since I have his number if you want and ask.
This was strange to see. I knew there were going to be OVX's or 125's there before it was done but the OV-25's were very suprising to see, I don't know why they did this but I like it.
This OV-25 was actually installed in 2004 when MTO used them instead of AEL 125's... The highway for this intersection opened in 2007, and then the signal was mounted to this pole.
