IMO the tilted optics pretty much defeats the purpose of FCO... Laughing

Powerlite and Westy also had similar tilted FCO lights...I've seen a OV 25 and a B2255 like this too. Razz

Yeah GE was the only one who designed fixtures specifically with FCO in mind in the past. The Westinghouse TuDors didn't have the tilted optics issue though. The OVZ and OVX STILL have the tilted optics/FCO combo and it absolutly drives me NUTS to see them in FCO. Mad Laughing The OVX is more common in FCO than the OVZ though, probably due to the fact that they'd have to use the more expensive OVF for FCO in 400W... The OVH is likely around the same cost as the OVZ so there's really no price issues there...

OVX FCO is like a arm mounted floodlight. Razz In other news the OVF and AE 125 FCO seems to be the medium fixture of choice here in the last couple of years. Small fixtures are usually AE 115 FCO.

It is! Laughing Yeah here it's still the M-250R2 for 50 and 100W HPS installations. With 250W it still seems to be a mix of the M-250R2 and the OVZ. I guess it depends on which linemen have used up the GEs in their truck... I saw some OVZs on Rte 10 a couple weeks ago (which is a RIDOT freeway) but all the FCOs installed on the relay-controlled installations are still M-400 FCOs. The OVF hasn't made a comeback yet nor has the OVX, as I still see new M-400s go up for 400W HPS.
