My M-400 A2 Power Door.I
I thought I uploaded this before.. I guess I haven't. xD

Here is my M-400 a2 power door. This picture was taken when I first got it, but Looks neat right? And the ballast is screwed in with long screws directly to the door, no brackets or anything. xD

streetlight98   [Apr 23, 2011 at 08:46 PM]

Not for sure, you said "I BELIEVE it's 250"
gailgrove   [Apr 23, 2011 at 08:58 PM]
I was trying to be polite Rolling Eyes
streetlight98   [Apr 23, 2011 at 09:31 PM]
Ok that's fine. I just didn't seem like you were sure of yourself.
LilCinnamon   [Apr 23, 2011 at 09:32 PM]
It is 250 watts HPS. I WISH it was 310. xD But its 250. It has a big yellow "25" on it. xD
streetlight98   [Apr 23, 2011 at 09:33 PM]
310 would be cool. The lamps are hard to find though. 1000Bulbs.com has them, but only in bulk.
LilCinnamon   [Apr 23, 2011 at 10:43 PM]
Yeah. There are no 310w HPS anywhere near me. Are there lots in Arizona?
gailgrove   [Apr 23, 2011 at 10:49 PM]
There are a lot in Chicago, most of the Crime-Fighters are 310 watt.
streetlight98   [Apr 23, 2011 at 11:05 PM]
@ Ian; I don't live in Arizona so I wouldn't know the answer to that. Rych would know.
LilCinnamon   [Apr 23, 2011 at 11:30 PM]
I see lots of 200 watt HPS here but no 310 watts.
streetlight98   [Apr 23, 2011 at 11:32 PM]
I don't see 200w or 150w here in RI either. We use 50, 100, 250, 400, (and sometimes 70watts)
gailgrove   [Apr 23, 2011 at 11:51 PM]
For cobra heads we use 70,150,250 and 400 watts (occasionly you'll find a 100 or 200) 100 watters are only installed as decorative lights.

Interesting, my neighbourhood is full of 100 watt cobraheads. We also have some 200, 250, 400 watt lights on other streets.

70 watt is more rarely seen and is used in some cobraheads and the coach lantern lights but 150 watt is very hard to find. There's some 750w and 1000w lights on the freeways too.

This is a regulated lag ballast, according to Vince. How it is wired, the three coils are labeled, and it's definitely bigger than my M-400 R2 250w ballast which is older than this one (by like two years).

You don't really see regulated lag ballasts in use anymore do we?
