Yeah each fixture here has its own PC! Pretty common here in my electrical company land!

Its very common here too, along this road they really should of put in group relays since its a fairly large highway (not a freeway) but still large.

In denver, all fixtures have their own PC.I don't know of many with relays in Denver under Xcel, Except for the highmasts on I-25, those have one PC per like.. 20 highmasts? (Each highmast only has two fixtures, one for each side of the road)

In my freeway and anything that has row of streetlights under state of MD are controlled by group relay...and in my electrical company...some, not all are group...but most have own photocells...but older setups on wooden masts and some on metal or concrete poles are group relay.

Older state installations had indivisual photocells, but new installs have relays.

Freeways and other provincial installations here use group relays mounted in a cabinet. Most utility and city owned lights here use individual PCs. Some parts of Toronto also use pole mounted group relays

i prefer individual photocells, one goes bad and they wont ALL day-burn, i would think individual is a lot easier to work with too.

It depends, for highways I prefer group relay, but for any other streets I like individual photocells better.
